exciting day for me…

wow!! exciting day today…..

was getting ready for a special night out with hubby and was searching for something cute to wear. its hard to find what i want to wear cause its usually the smaller clothes lol. a month ago i tried on a jean skirt and it was so short on me cause i was still to heavy. i wondered maybe it will fit now…. i tried it on and wow not only did it fit but i could pull out the waist and it was too big!!! hahah i didnt wear it cause it wouldve sagged down alot but that just made my night!! i was on a natural high all night :)

Woo Hoo way to go! Isn’t that an amazing feeling! I love it. This weekend I am hauling out my closet and giving away my to big clothes to my sister-in-law! I have been thrift store shopping for my inbetween, because I don’t want to put a lot of money into clothes I don’t plan on wearing for too long.
    Have a good one!

    Hi Rochelle!
Thanks for reading my note. I was really excited today to have dropped two pounds after a 2 week plateau. You are so right that the key is to keep going even when the results don’t seem to come as fast. Y’know, I’ve noticed a weird thing. Sometimes after a couple of days of salads & lean meats, etc, I’ll get crazy, uncontrollable cravings. That happened Friday noght but I just had some salmon & rice & pushed through it. I wanted to go for the pint of ice cream SO BAD. It’s almost like… intense cravings are my body’s final effort at staying the same. Like it really wants to stay the same & I’ve pushed it to the edge of change. I’ve noticed this a few times: that major cravings come just before a major change. That change can’t happen if I give in. Well, thanks for the encouraging words & DON’T GIVE IN!!

I am having lots of those moments here lately…we have NOTHING to complain about, huh? As I am “growing out” of items, I am bagging them up and passing them onto my sister who is right behind me because I will NEVER be wearing that big crap again! We are doing this thang and should be so proud :) Keep up the good work, you are awesome! I am doing 5k run/walk this weekend in DC…who would have ever thought?
